Different Types of Yoga



There are many different types of yoga although are 6 main branches from which all forms stem.
These 6 forms are Raja, Karma, Bhakti, Tantra, Juana, and Hatha Yoga.
1. Raja- Royal. Meditation-focused, 8 limbs of yoga.
2. Karma- Service to others. Taking action
3. Bhakti- Devotion, open heart.
4. Tantra- To weave or expand.
5. Jnana-Wisdom or knowledge. Become self-liberated
6. Hatha- Purification, sun, and moon.Body and mind.
Styles of Yoga
Viniyoga, Anusara, Ashtanga, Hot Yoga, Integral, Iyengar, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Laughter Yoga, Vinyasa
I personally enjoy practicing Raja, Jnana, Hatha, Kundalini, and Anusara
